About Us

Hello, my name is Gary Probst.  I'm a Certified Professional Inspector (CPI), a Certified Master Inspector (CMI), and the proud owner and operator of Beacon Home Inspections of NE Florida, LLC.  As you know, buying a home is one of the largest investments a person can make.  Having a thorough, detailed inspection by a licensed, qualified home inspector prior to purchase is an important piece of the home buying process.

On a personal note, my wife and I are long time residents of Nassau County and we love calling this little slice of heaven home.  We're actively involved in the community and also own and operate She Shore Home Watch: https://sheshorehomewatch.com/.  We've developed and maintained an excellent reputation as we strive to always provide exceptional service through reliability, trustworthiness, and an unparalleled attention to detail for all of our clients.  The details always matter!  Prior to becoming a small business owner in the area, I was employed (25+ years) in the building  products and construction industry, as well as the lawn and garden chemical manufacturing industry.  I primarily worked in the field while heading up the project and sales management sectors within these organizations.  My wife is a former realtor and still holds licenses in the states of Florida and North Carolina.  This has afforded me a unique understanding of the real estate market.

As Nassau County and the surrounding areas have continued to grow over the years, the need for qualified home inspectors has also increased.  My company is licensed and insured, and I hold many certifications within the home inspection industry, of which, Wind Mitigation and Four Point inspections are included.  Additionally, I'm an active ancillary member of AINCAR (Amelia Island Nassau County Association of Realtors) and hold Supra KEY access.  I'm here to serve you and offer peace of mind in your home buying process.
